Good Afternoon Thanks to my mother and one of my distant uncles living in Switzerland, I anticipate my 40th birthday, which will take place at the end of November. I was hesitant between the brand at the crown and the star brand on several models. But as some of you who know me very very long ago, I prioritize the vintage and from a long way and especially what is not at all common and absolutely atypical, my choice fell on superb chronograph Defy El Primero A782 between 1971 and 1972 with blue dial produced 1500 examples to know that there were two other variants A783 gray dial with blue counters also produced 1500 examples and A781 bright red dial cherry produced 1000 examples. There were four for sale, three in Italy and one in the USA. I took the one that was in the best condition possible almost new stock in Italy with box and paper and mostly revised. Italy is the country of the Zenith El Primero vintage and where there are the most beautiful condition examples. Have a lovely day everybody Best regards Georges
Thanks but my birthday is at the end of november. I will have some timepieces that I will take back from the overhaul
Early salutations, then... Love to see them all when you get ‘em back.. The blue-green color is absolutely The Best
Here another interesting version of the watch https://www.chrono24.com/zenith/el-primero--id8661450.htm
This one is a franken watch , the a384/385 never existed with this dial. It is an a385/a384 case with a782 dial. I reported it
Sorry George for the confusion, yes, of course it´s a franken... I was not promoting it, I thought the smiley at the end would make that clear ...
LOL, I believe he slipped a photo on of a DJ as well. If you’re going to attempt to sell a Franken as original, at least make sure your post is “clean” and pictures are of the same watch....
