My heart skipped a beat when I saw this auction listing for this 18kt 30T2RG chronometre with sharp case, original box, hang tag and additional later 18kt clasp....but then I saw the dial....Oh man, talk about a downer! 🙁

Looking at the case and movement condition I really can't imagine that the dial would have been in such a bad state to warrant redialing....I'm really curious as to when and why this happened

I saw it too and I wondered also - maybe the dial was discolored too heavily and the former owner could not stand the condition?

But I wondered also about the strong price it reached... about 2400 € (all incl.)

Yes, pretty strong indeed, but I guess the box and buckle add a reasonably significant amount to the total

Whoever refinished the dial also damaged the applied Omega logo and bent the left foot.

That would bug me more than the overall dial which could be refinished again. I guess the foot can be re-bent
