Omega 30T2RG Fab. Suisse dial question

Hello OF,

I've seen this watch for sale at auction today : a 30T2RG french cased...

But the characteristic Fab. Suisse is placed at the bottom of the dial, not under the Omega...

The rest of the dial seems more than ok to my eye, and I haven't seen anything in @mac_omega 's Bible.

P.S. : As (almost) always with non watch specialized auction houses, pics are awful. This one's is by far the best and tbh, the only useful. Despite this, the watch sold for 4k euros net buyer, way above my maximum dib 😀

In my opinion this is too expensive... and the seconds hand is very long, isn't it?

Looks fine, and, if the case back and movement are clean, the price was not high.

Never buy without a movement shot. If the price is high. You want a mint movement. Not something with rust, patina or corrosion on the parts

Also, if it is really fab. Suisse, should have the falcon hallmarks on the case , and fabrique en suisse on the movement .

and I haven't seen anything in @mac_omega 's Bible

Have a close look at the dials of model France 2 (FR2) - there is the same dial, the only difference is the position of "FAB. SUISSE"

My apologies, I might have misexplained my point... This dial is already known, right, but it’s the first one I see with Fab. Suisse at the bottom, hence my interrogations.

I’m pretty certain I’ve seen this case/dial variant with the fab suisse at the bottom, including one relatively recently (I can’t seem to find the link/photo).

Agree with Tony..
Plus the overall condition of case and dial I would wager the movement is in similar condition …

if someone buys it please post a movement shot !
