I'm hoping that this will be getting a bit more wrist time one day soon. It's starting to look more likely.

But Lewis and Ferrari were supposed to be sympatico, Ferrari was going to tailor the car to suit Lewis' driving style, blah, blah, blah. Lewis was going straight to the podium! The hard truth is Hamilton is a spent force at age 40, just like Alonso. F1 is a young man's game, look at who is winning races now, the kiddies. Lewis moved for ego and money, fine, but who knows what Ferrari was thinking. They had very good team of Leclerc and Sainz and threw it away, but as you said, Ferrari never disappoints.
Also a bit ironic that HAM jumps ship just as Mercedes seem to be getting it back together.

Rumors swirling about Horner being ousted after IMOLA....
I am pretty skeptical of this these rumors. Only the clickbait type "reports" seem to be pushing this "story".

I can’t see him being kicked to the curb in the middle of the season even though RBR does that to their drivers all the time. I can see RB ousting him after the season ends if the car isn’t competitive.

I agree with you. It doesn't make sense. They couldn't fire him last season so why now?
Apparently his dear friend Marco is behind this rumor.

The best hope to fix the Yawnaco Grand Prix is to eliminate any mandatory pit stops. Let somebody midpack run hards and not make a stop.

That's actually not a bad idea...

Let's do that, and let's bring back refueling. I watched the Indy 500, and they were knocking pit members down, setting them on fire, and more. Bring back some mayhem to F1, it's too risk averse now.

Monaco is "reclaiming" a chunk of land from the coast. Basically extending the city into the ocean. It would be awesome if they added a long straightaway.

What about removing the 2 car team. I car - 2 drivers - 10 lap pit stop window mid race for driver swap

Not sure how the points would work though - scrub that!

Or perhaps allow more passing opportunities by (1) making T1 a lot wider, and (2) removing the chicane at T10/T11 + adding right side safety rails and (3) adding a DRS zone from T9 to T12.

Red Bull's Christian Horner: Changes to circuit needed at Monaco

"...
After Sunday's race, Horner said the core issue is that the tight circuit does not permit overtaking with modern cars and only a change to the layout would fix the problem.

"I think the only way to really encouraging any form of overtaking is trying to create a bit more of a braking area, either on the exit of the tunnel or turn one if there was any way of creating a longer braking zone somewhere, we should really investigate it," Horner said.
