Canons are back on the Red Bulls, and they look like they're firing once again
..still Charles from Sergio from Lewis from Lando from Oscar is a great recipe, for what I hope is a great (dry apparently) race tomorrow馃憤馃憤馃憤

When an F1 team is profoundly dominant wet it's great; but when there's so little between the cars I always prefer dry (qually and race) 馃憤

Hi all,
I think tomorrow is going to be very interesting as it looks to me like McLaren have gone for a dry race set up as there is no way they have gone from being so fast to so slow. I also think they are going to destroy Red Bull, Ferrari and Mercedes with superior top speed and pass those cars quite easily and then disappear into the distance. But only time will tell if I'm right or not but that is my prediction for the race. Oh and Max will not get on the podium and will struggle to score good points too.

Lando blows the start again. He鈥檚 not championship material. He should just go to RB and be Max鈥檚 wingman.

I think that's harsh, he's incredibly talented, and I think Lando and Piastri make a fantastic pairing with great potential..
..Perez blew it yet again and should definitely be replaced in the summer break with somebody who can keep Vestapen honest and help not to lose the constructors.
Great win for Russell, kept it together and crucially kept it on the track when under pressure.. DRS changes helped him significantly, and lack of tyre deg was completely out of the blue, totally unexpected. Hamilton drove brilliantly but was thwarted by the aforementioned.

Oh Noooooo.

There was an instruction fairly early in the race to either Lewis or George to "lift and coast", so I suspect that Mercedes knew they were marginal on fuel.

cars are drained of fuel before weighing

I believe that they are weighed with whatever fuel is left after a fixed quantity has been extracted for fuel analysis (2.8 litre?).

No expert on this, but I believe that 2.8 liters is what they removed from Georges car, but the car was not fully drained. Either way, sucks for George.

Really terrible for Russell! ..of course I'm Happy for Hamilton he drove an amazing race, but I'm sure this could have been mitigated by picking up more (1.5kg) marbles on the in-lap, he was probably unaware and so overjoyed to win!

Yes for sure, I remember the call!
I'm pretty certain everybody would have had to lift and coast at points during the race, as they would have fueled with the probability of a VSC or safety car, as you don't want to carry around extra payload that will slow you down.. but it's so harsh, it happened to Hamilton and Leclerc last year if I remember rightly馃槨馃槨馃槨
