Lewis!!!

I feel bad for George since he's been driving pretty good the past 3-4 races and he probably could've got a podium. Lando with the soft tires at the end cost him the win.

Thrilled for Lewis with a storybook ending at his home race. He deserved the win today and proved that with a good car he still has plenty left in the tank.

Mclaren blew multiple calls, first in not staking Lando and Piastri then putting softs on Lando, this was his race to lose.

Great race, had everything... I felt really sorry for George ..in my opinion, Lando shouldn't have been given the option for softs, medium was definitively better for the McLaren and they knew it, that's why Oscar jumped in the mediums!
..Six different winners in one season makes for a fantastic championship.. My opinion: hold Back the new 26 regs for at least another season, perhaps two
..but the raw emotion for Lewis was incredible, had me welling up.. a truly wonderful thing!!!

Wtf was Ferrari doing with Leclerc? At a certain point, they should've just retired him being a lap down.

My wife got quite emotional with 2 laps to go and the flood gates opened when she heard his shaky voice over the radio thanking his team. It was a great day for racing.

4.5 sec pit stop didn't help. He would have likely come out in the lead.

Yes, Lando would have been there or thereabouts for sure, but matching Lewis with soft instead of putting on a set of mediums was known to be a suboptimal choice for the McLarens, together with Lando overshooting the box, it took crucial (circa 2±) seconds for everybody to re-adjust, and that was probably the final nail.

Hedging their bets instead of stacking, was for sure the wrong decision as it was clear to see how quickly the dry line and lap times were evolving, switching to slicks was paramount, and too much time was lost on an extra hedging lap that sadly took Oscar completely out of contention.
I have faith in Andrea Stella, he's a very shrewd operator and he'll remove/reduce significantly the chances of that happening again.

^^^ Bleh......what's worse, Hublot or Tag Heuer?
Then, thankfully, I own a "Heuer" and not a "Tag Heuer" 😁😁😁

Rolex wannabe F1 watch. At least TAG Heuer has a Monaco and a Montreal. Best Rolex can do is Daytona?

Gonna be weird not seeing Rolex all over the tracks any more - they've been there for as long as I've been watching F1.

Maybe they realised Bernie was right, F1 shouldn't have bothered trying to stay relevant to the younger generations, they don't buy enough Rolexes. 😜

Kmag departing HAAS at the end of the season...
The rumor mill has been swirling...but nothing confirmed as of yet (not just talking about Kmag.)
