That doesn't look kosher? Never seen one with those pushers, crown and case?! @Ludi can chime in?

the unusual character of valjoux22 especially in this original military watch is the asymmetrical distance between two pushers to the crown. if you notice, the crown is much nearer to the upper (start) pusher than the lower p(stop) hence, very unique. apparently, this is not present in the new version anymore.😉

it's nice. but the price is too high. 3.5k to spend opens a lot of doors for you and it's hard to pick this door..

unless you have to have it/ like it in addition to having bought everything else on your wish list in order to buy it.

I just heard from Tom van Wijlick, lug to lug is 47.7mm.

Have been tempted by this as a potential travel watch, and while the sub- $3k price for a manual wind flyback chrono is awesome I just can't get behind the countdown-hours bezel. Fortunately my choice would be the non-limited black dial version though so I'll definitely be keeping an eye on them going forward...

For me, the countdown bezel adds more of a historical value than a practical one. Since this re edition is quite faithful to the original watch, aesthetically and practically, it makes a quite interesting daily wearing watch with modern appointments. This is what made me take the dive. In the end, my collection will end up being modern versions of glorious watches from the past!
