Is this Airain Type 20 Chronograph legit?

Hi,

Anyone familiar with French type 20 Chronographes?

This is an Airain Type 20 Chronograph with a Valjoux 222 (Flyback). The problem is with the case back. It looks different from every other similar model I've seen online. Last picture is what the case back should look like, notice the difference in the slots shape. In this watch it is shorter and thicker.

What do you think?

I think that caseback is from a Dodane version of the type 20.

Yes I noticed this. Even the case could be from Dodane. But since Airain was related to Dodane, could it be they sometimes used their cases? Or is the watch a Dodane but the dial was replaced by Airain?

I think a movement+dial swap into another case is more likely because the inside case measurements will be the same if they all use the same movement. Casebacks may not be interchangeable with different case shapes and makers leading to different sizes or threads ?
