This cool vintage Swiss diver in 36mm with a nice patina and a sweet vintage Sub look.
I put it on a buttery soft leather band that matches the dial color and absolutely love it.

666 feet? That's the devil's watch! 😜

Here's a pic from today (with the correct date) in direct sunlight that shows the lume and dial color much better. Couldn't find much info online about the Titan brand, but it feels and runs like a nicely built Swiss watch from the 60s/70s. Definitely a keeper!

Sturmanskie Gagarin Automatic:

(Photo from sellers online store).
Haven't actually seen it yet, as I had it shipped to my new home in Europe and I'm still stuck here in the US due to this whole Coronavirus BS.
Can't wait to try it on for size 😉

This is actually one of my go-to watches for everyday wear, without having to worry about weather, or anything else, for that matter. Simple and very readable dial, with the four red accents making it pop much more than monotones. Solid movement and case. Etc.

Plus if you encounter some super water, your watch will be fine.

1958 cal. 501, 2846/8-1 SC. £365. Unpolished and runs like a charm. Even has the original crown! Apologies for cross-posting with the "What Omega did you buy for under $500"--this is always one of my favourite threads. It's amazing (and shocking), when you look back across the years, to see what you could get for $500 or less as recently as 2018 and 2017. When I think of the Wakmann triple-dates, Hamilton supercompressors, Yema Yachtingrafs and other up-and-coming pieces that I could have snapped up in 2015/16 <sigh>.

Does its compass function same way to the compass of the alpinist?

from what I recall the extra crown thingy in the seiko map-meter model is supposed to be unlocked and run-wheel-rotate along a map route to somehow give a meter measurement. Someone else here probably knows exactly how it works. Way too complicated for this kid 😀

New year, new thread.

I'll kick it off with a 2622-1 from 1951.

Bought it as a companion for a 321 chronograph with full radium numerals I purchased in 2019. The dial has some radium damage but I like the warm yellow tint. The 2622 case is also not that common and it stands sharp with the original crown.

That Omega has aged like a good wine. 🥰 Truly spectacular! Congrats 👍

Few months since my last purchase, i'd say The Gigandet skin diver is my top pick for a sub $500 watch 😁

Ah ok. So it’s more than a compass. Ty sir. Stay safe.

I've ordered another Vostock which I don't need and probably won't wear. I'll just put it with the other 8 in the same category 🙄

Here's mine. Also Titan, have no clue about the brand.
Only thing I know is that it's a real EPSA case, have no way of opening it and getting to see the movement till Friday.
300$ shipped
