Hi there II picked up this f300 constellation 198.0027 from the UK. Its on a JB Champion hummer bracelet and Just squeezes into this thread. Little piece of pure 70’s design ethic .
Thought I’d add this brick sh&t house of a under $500 watch. Love looking down the endless rehaut and the oversized crown and bezel. Marathon GSAR
One more for tonight...goofy but kinda fun/handy Garmin fenix 5s masquerading as a 2500 SM that’s my non Chinese version looming in the background...it cost more than 500 though
Bulova reissue: Vintage Benrus: Just scratching the collecting itch while I see how our family finances weather the storm.
My citizen Eco Drive chronongraph is hardly worth mentioning in such esteemed company but It certainly has the looks and is an excellent watch that serves its purpose well. Also I snagged it as a factory refurb with five year warranty for 80 USD, far below its 295 USD suggested retail price, and the dial is beautiful, no photo can do it justice, brown with coppery highlights that really show up in the sun. Seller's image. I mainly got this one because I hoped to get out in the wild some this year, but now that looks unlikely.
This is actually one of my go-to watches for everyday wear, without having to worry about weather, or anything else, for that matter. Simple and very readable dial, with the four red accents making it pop much more than monotones. Solid movement and case. Etc.
This lovely skindiver with box. Currently having movement restored. Including service, below the threshold!!
I've been on a sub-$500 binge. Its got to stop. But here are my recent purchases: Seiko Field Watch with a funky compass complication: Squale Root Beer, NiB, on an ss bracelet but I swapped it for a strap: And, due to arrive any day now, a Maen, blue w white chapter ring:
This cool vintage Swiss diver in 36mm with a nice patina and a sweet vintage Sub look. I put it on a buttery soft leather band that matches the dial color and absolutely love it.
