Sorry but there is no way on this planet that England are better than Wales..........

....... England have had reasonably easy games, with no big tests so far so they might look good but when they meet a proper side they will fall short.

Intriguing weekend of rugby. England were amazing so much better than I could have dreamt.

Wales, terrible last week (In my opinion) competitive this week and a very good match for the Boks. Not the best game of rugby but fierce and intense and really enjoyable in its own way.

This weekend shows that your previous performances have no bearing on the next. Wales were everything today that they were not last week (including lucky ?) the all blacks were so dominant last week and well beaten this.

On to next Saturday really hope both teams play to their potential. If they do I think England will win, but the SA front row are so formidable and could so easily deny England the ball they need. Exciting final in store I hope!!

Awesome performance from England, intensity right from the off. Even those last 2 minutes NZ were just going backwards.

Looking forward to Saturday. Just hope it doesn't turn into a SA kick fest... Can see them pummelling Elliot Daley with the high ball for 80 minutes.

I have wondered why Eddie has not swapped ED with Anthony Watson positionally every match. Much stronger as a full back.

Agreed. But one thing Daley has is that 3pt bomb from 50+yds. 80+ mins... penalty just inside our half....

I also thought AW would be better at 15 than ED but as the tournament has gone on I think AW has really shown his value on the wing. He always beats a man and buys the time for support to get to him meaning he isn't isolated in the 5m channel. The guy's electric

Nervous but excited for the final. England by 5 and low scoring game i reckon

Yes, like the way AW spins inside just when he looks like being isolated against the line. Seems alway able to get that extra few yards plus time for support over the ball. Just hope one day he doesn't get drilled in the back!

Anyone else ( in the UK) trying to make plans for what you're realistically going to be fit for come lunch time?

Agreed, but he can run similar lines from FB - does it for Bath.
Difficult to call, wouldn’t be surprised if we hammered them or narrowly won!!

Predictable bronze match. Wales not good enough to threaten the Abs. It seems to me sometimes that the extent of Welsh ambition is to overachieve and beat England in a one off game now and again, celebrate like they have won the world cup and then flatter themselves into believing this makes them world beaters. Only to inevitably get found out when it really matters.

Roll on tomorrow

Swing Low sweet chariot. Wales coming 4th to carry me home

Incredibly harsh, spoken like “the arrogant English” .... typical one sided view.

Did made me laugh out loud though.

Always love the "arrogant English" tag. It is often levelled at the ABs too.
I think it comes stems the fact we believe we should always be in top 2 teams in the world and are therefore never satisfied.
I take it as a compliment and much preferred to "plucky losers" 😀

I think its because the English come across as Arrogant. You dont even like each other with your north south divide.
The team that scores most points will win tomorrow.

Never mind the north, I don’t like most southerners.

Our family is split across the English/Welsh divide (Welsh valleys dad, Yorkshire mum) though we lived in Devon growing up. This WC has been very hard on half of us...
