One of my goals, one day, is to source a Chronostop for that sort of price...

It was so random, I made an offer, got the counter offer, paid, done!
Didn't really search for it, just randomly came across and now I'm happy I did.
Good luck with your hunting.

Jealous you got the Omega buckle and box for that price.
What's the ref and caliber?

I'm afraid I don't know. It's hand wound...

Objection! I've made three or four great deals so far and have stood down on three more - could easily have ended up with loads more 馃榾

Here's one:

@ConElPueblo I am kind of picky as to what to add to new collection, I always been looking at vintage, things that appeals to my eye.
Bigger issue is the day job looks very unstable so really refrain from spending to keep some cash at bank...
Next on the wanted list is a 1974 Rolex 5513.which is over $500 馃嵖

Not everybody's cup of tea I know but much cheaper than the cut off figure. 198.030 hummer from late 1973? (36.9m serial). The sloping bezel is polished on these with just the flat crystal surround area brushed. Arrived today.

Forgot to add, it is 38mm so wears pretty modern for an early 70s piece, like many hummers.

2990!

Indeed, rose gold 2990 Semaster, the movement is immaculate and looks untouched, I really like it and it wears extremely well

Ya, I like mine too. I thought I would turn mine for a profit since I bought it for next to nothing (not working at the time). As it turns out, I love it on my wrist.

How about this one then?

Well below $500, not bad for an unpolished cal. 564 Constellation 馃槈

Thought I might ressurect this thread for the last day of January, 2017. My first Omega this year, loving the original glass with the round cyclop and skinny Omega logo in the middle.

My most recent. Early 2577-4 bumper comfortably under budget.
