Wasn't supposed to buy any watch last year.
But couldn't resist when i saw this :
Listed as a 265 in non original case. The hands was dead, the dial, not so much alive and very dirty movement.
But I recognised that it was a 2505 with a generic caseback so i jumped on it cause always wanted an oversize cal.30mm.
I serviced the movement , found a better dial and generic dauphine hands, new plexi and a lizard strap and here it is ...
It's not perfect but i like it and for the price i'm half the budget max for this topic

From the sales forum on this site in 2017 for exactly $500 as I remember.
It’s had a lot more wrist time than I imagined when I bought it for novelty factor and that I’d never owned a hummer before.
Great piece and shouldn’t loose my pants when push time comes around.

I remember that from the sales forum, and kicking myself when I missed it. Good pickup!

That's terrible. I feel sorry for you. So sorry, in fact, I'll give you $30 for it. You can console yourself with a beer while you read which watches you should have bought instead.

😉

Haha, alcohol is expensive in Sweden so $30 will not be enough beer to forget my awful mistake. 😁
