2017 / 2018 Rolex price increase ?

I'm not so sure. I stopped by my local Rolex boutique a few weeks ago and they told me that prices were going up by around 10% in the new year. Of course they could have just been telling me that to get me to buy a watch ("You'll save so much money if you buy today!"), but I believe them. Pretty soon they are going to be in the >$10000 range for a basic Submariner... I'm starting to struggle to see the value in that honestly.

I've been offered non date subs black steel twice this year without being on any list, Fraser hart AD in Milton Keynes UK had one last week. Been waiting for a date version for ages...

Nice, they are around. I walked in to an AD and purchased a GMT black steel just like that, but still waiting for a sub date black steel since the summer

Even picked up a 2008 model while waiting
