When a watch talks to you like your is, it's a great feeling. Wear it in good health. Regards, bill

Just got the Extract from Omega Archive. For those who record such things...my Speedie has a 29,114mill serial number and this dates it to March 18th 1970, supplied to USA., no mention of bracelet. So everything adds up and I am a happy bunny.
Glad I ordered the extract before the Swiss Franc moved. Lord knows how much it costs now.

I paid 95fr which was about 拢60 in December. That's nearly 拢100 now. Crazy. Goodness what will the prices be on new models? Any guesses on increase?

Can anyone let me know what buckle this would have had originally? Next step...
Originally, it would have been sold with a stainless steel bracelet. Either (bracelet/end links) 1039/516, 1116/575 or 1171/633. The 1039 are easily found on ebay but are expensive, $700+. The 1171/633 is available used for less and is available new from Ofrei.com in the states.

So, if you wear it with a leather strap, you can do whatever you want.

Enjoy!

This came with a 1039/516 bracelet but looks great with an 1171/633 bracelet. Any way, that is what I did with mine.
