I picked this up over a decade ago at a gun show from the original owner's estate. He was a Vietnam vet, and the story was he wore this during his tour.

Model 166024-67
Movement 563 (These were available only in the US for tax reasons)
Movement # 282721XX

I had it serviced by watchco around 2009, as they were the only people i found that had the NAIAD crowns in stock. It has lived in a watch box since then. Occasionally coming out for some pics. They also replaced the crystal with an uncommon original Omega one with an internal cyclops (it has an omega logo in the middle). The case was not polished and has great original wabi.

Watch runs fine, although i noticed the second hands stutters a little. It does not affect time keeping, and likely just needs an adjustment.

I am mostly looking for a trade. I know the value of these watches, and will entertain reasonable offers +/- cash. Please do not send low ball dealer offers. We are trading collector to collector.

I am mostly interested in the following, and am open to suggestions
Omega 321 chronos,
Moonphase Speedmaster the older one with plexi crystal
Heuer vintage Autavias
JLC most of the more traditional looking ones, itching for a deep sea.
IWC Mark X to XII pilots
Military issued watches

Lots of interest and questions around value. I did a quick search on Chron24 to establish a baseline value, coming back between $5000 and $8000. Understanding that it is a big range, and prices on Chron24 tend to be full retail, I am open to using the same source to establish value for your trade. Or if you prefer to make a cash offer, that works too.
