1968 Omega Seamaster 300 Date 166.024-67

I have up for sale today a beautiful later Seamaster 300 date model 166.024-67 that dates to 1968. It is in largely untouched original condition.

The watch is in very good original condition and runs and functions as it should. It was serviced 3 years ago.

The case is in very good vintage condition with wear commensurate to its age. It does not appear to have been polished with sharp and distinctive lines. The bezel and insert are very nice with no cracks nor damage, just typical scratches and honest wear. The caseback is sharp and clear and is marked 166024-67 SC. The crown is original to the watch.

The 565 movement bears serial number 26921718 which dates to 1968 and is in very good condition. It was serviced in December of 2019 and runs and keeps time as it should. The quickset date features a stunning silver date wheel.

The dial and hands are original and untouched. The dial has taken a dark patina to the lume. The arrow hands have darkened around the edges but retain their original lume. The crystal is original and shows its small Omega logo at the centre.

It is currently fitted with a 1171/1 bracelet with 633 end links. The bracelet would be a later addition to the watch.
