$22 from an estate sale, missing crown & male-half of the split stem. Not running at the time of purchase, but that was due to the seconds hand being fouled by the crystal. Started right up upon removing the crystal.

Was surprised that it did not set off the Geiger Counter, but I expect it has been (crudely) relumed at some point in the distant past. Glows under the UV, but I'll plan on cleaning this up & try & get it looking better.

None of the hands are looking real good

Parts watches pop up all the time. Most likely you can source a non running one with a clean dial and hands- and the correct crown/stem for under $200.
These are getting silly for price when they are nice, but the non-running ones still go for reasonable money.

Mine needs the male half of the split stem. I can fabricate the missing part for the stem (so long as nobody's too picky about the finish quality), but I would like to find a correct crown. These are, unfortunately, the 1st parts to go missing...

It鈥檚 the part everyone is looking for. I鈥檓 sure there is a government warehouse somewhere with 100k of them sitting in a box.

Movement is an ETA 2372 (I believe). Looks like the female portion is pretty worn out, too. Should be straight forward to make yourself. Source an ETA 2372 stem and check Julesborel.com for a split stem kit. Now to find a nice crown. 馃榾
