    Hi OF,

For sale is my military Bulova 3818A watch. First introduced in 1956, this Vietnam War era US military issue MIL-W-3818A would be the last military piece produced by Bulova.

Dial: 100% original 24-hour dial with radium on hour markers and numerals. Spade hands with radium, second hand with radium arrow one end and lollipop and the other end. All hands are original.
Case: Stainless steel case by Star Watch Case Company which is correct. Decagonal caseback, original oversized crown which winds very easy and smoothly.
Movement: 10BNCH movement. No service history, watch runs and keeping good time.

The watch measures 33mm excluding crown, 39mm lug to lug. Case is unpolished. Anti-magnetic dust shield between caseback and movement. All functions work as it should including the hack function.

The NOS strap included is the correct style and period for these watches including navigator and canteen watches. The strap colour is like a chocolate with tinted burgundy colour, very similar like Horween #8, it is unworn and never fitted to any watches. The plastic seal was already opened when I receive it and I only took the strap out for display purpose only.

According to the picker who sold me the watch, the watch came from the estate of a Maj. Clifford H. "Mack" McGilvre. Please see his obituary below,

    http://obits.dignitymemorial.com/di...d-McGilvrey&lc=7474&pid=175669820&mid=6569110

The watch is sold as is with the NOS strap, no box or papers. Priced at USD350 + shipping. Paypal or bank wire only.

    Thanks heaps

    Andre

When stuff sells this quick you know it's a good piece at a fair price. The for sale section here is about 1000% better than ebay
