1961 Seamaster 14390-61-SC cal.285 - i need Your opinion and advice

Hi Guys,
I found another Omega - this time 1970 Geneve ref.135.070 cal.601(1)
Seller claims, that everything is original:
-glass with logo
-crown with logo
-dial without any renovation
-asked price 370€ / 430$

What do You think about this watch? Is this brushed steel on the top is original? I found two pictures of waches looking like this one, but most have polished top. Thanks for any helpful opinions.

Alpha/Lance hands are perfectly correct, dial looks just fine as well.

Agree - my steel cased linen dial 14390 also have lance hands and I believe it to be untouched (drawer find).

@felsby, thx for Your answer but 14390 has been too much polished so i didn't bought it.

Now i'm considering 1970 Geneve 135.070 - pictures and description is one post higher.

I think the watch looks cool and the price is fair. It's a 601 Geneve so not the most amazing Omega ever, but it's a workhorse of a movement and a nice dress watch.

@Blaise, You have 100% right. For me this watch isn't amazing, he is simply ok but i want to buy my first vintage watch and first of all i want to buy good, original watch without any modification. This Geneve looks like original but i'm newbie that's why i'm asking You 😀

and there's nothing wrong with that. buy what you like and can afford. If the price is ok, the watch looks original as much as possible and you fancy it...pull the trigger. simple as that 😀
