On a local auction site
1452412074.jpg

1046XXX
Case ref. 12304
No movement pics but vendor says it's a 285 ser. no. 190803 but the case ref. would make it a 283.
I welcome your comments.

Case looks a bit polished, central seconds hand is not original. Minute and second hands could be UG hands but I think this watch should have golden hands, not blued. Dial is quite patinated and some graphical informations are deleted.
From what I see it's not a super cool watch. I'd avoid, unless it would be a super bargain.

Based on the thickness of the minute track font, is it not also possibly a redial altogether? Not to add insult to injury of course lol.

difficult to say imho, because logo is covered, and it would be interesting to see it. Minute track is thick, yes, but you know with only this pic.. it's just speculation. It looks ok to me, to be honest. I'd bet 2 cents on the originality of this dial.

I’ve never seen that sub dial layout before from this time period, plus round 3 on the right sub dial ?

Interesting reference. No examples in my database. Also no 285 movements with 190.xxx serial which makes it more interesting

I don't think it is a 285 but I have asked the vendor for a pic. of the movement.
