Basel World is starting today and that means a lot of watches have been showing up on the local market. It's the second time I see these UG chronographs (not too long ago it was a Tri-compax) that come up with these gold bracelets. These watches seem to attract a little less attention because of the fixed bracelet.

Would anyone have any knowledge about these bracelets? Was the fixed gold bracelet an option when you bought the watch from a UG dealer or was it added later?

This Uni-Compax looks in decent shape, lost the tachimètre squale and the lower pushers seems stuck. Price is in the 1500chf so not so bad for a 38mm 18k gold UG chronograph.
