·Hey guys, I'm looking to make my first venture into the exciting world of vintage watch ownership. I have been looking specifically at this Omega Seamaster De Ville, ref num: 166020SC, 18k Solid Yellow Gold stamped from 750, Cal: 565, 24 jewels, silver dial, plexiglass, crocodile skin strap, Mint condition, 1968, freq: 19800 A/h, power res: 50h. - as shown in the following pictures. However, there is still a lot i need to learn, as I am struggling to source the movement number, which is - 2'4760'295 - as 24000000 numbers seem to be skipped in the omega movement number references?
I'm interested to find out from you guys why it is the case that this set of numbers are missed, as well as to be given a valuation of the watch, considering its apparent excellent condition (looks as if it's been refurbished maybe?).
Thanks.
