18k Gold Seamaster De Ville advice needed

Hey guys, I'm looking to make my first venture into the exciting world of vintage watch ownership. I have been looking specifically at this Omega Seamaster De Ville, ref num: 166020SC, 18k Solid Yellow Gold stamped from 750, Cal: 565, 24 jewels, silver dial, plexiglass, crocodile skin strap, Mint condition, 1968, freq: 19800 A/h, power res: 50h. - as shown in the following pictures. However, there is still a lot i need to learn, as I am struggling to source the movement number, which is - 2'4760'295 - as 24000000 numbers seem to be skipped in the omega movement number references?

I'm interested to find out from you guys why it is the case that this set of numbers are missed, as well as to be given a valuation of the watch, considering its apparent excellent condition (looks as if it's been refurbished maybe?).

How'd I go @hoipolloi ?

Well, I can't tell much from the Seamaster text, except for maybe that the first "e" is on a shallower incline on the initial upstroke?
Otherwise the 29th and 31st minute markers are on the outside of the W and D in "SWISS MADE", as opposed to the inside of the W and D on @hoipolloi sample photo.

What does this mean in terms of authenticity / value?

18k + 565 + hippocampus + box, nice strap and buckle + clean dial and movement = 1800 USD or a bit more, less.

PS.
That is the price for a dial with black onyx insert hour markers. IF they are black painted. 300 usd less, I guess.

Thanks for that @hoipolloi , you've been very helpful. One final thing with regards to the hour markers, how do I go about verifying whether they are onyx inserts or simply painted? Would that require a professional service? Thanks again for your help.

The onyx is actually a insert that is noticeable to the eye when inspecting the watch. You will see this being asked on the forum as not as easy to see in pictures
