I forgot to mention the price (USD 1650). Is it worth it ?
Please feel free to give any advice to a newbie like me

The dial looks to be original but better pics would help to be certain.
Is that dial damage at the 27 minute marker?
The case looks decent and everything about the watch appears original.
Price is way too high at $1650.

There is dial damage at many points. If this were a solid gold watch it still would not be worth the price.

If you take your time and look around a bit, I'm convinced that for US $1,650 you can buy two nicer watches that match your taste.

I find it quite charming, even taking the dial degradation and case wear into account. Unfortunately the price point is for me about 2.5x too high. At $600-$700 I'd say it would be decent value, but above that it starts to look expensive for what it is.

Thanks for your inputs. I'll pass on this one. I'll find one at a more decent price.

I'm no expert but, I do think the black dialed Seamasters do command a higher price. How much more, I can't answer that.
