“Massive Change” can’t refer to 3861, can it?

Was about to pull the trigger on the new Moonwatch when the teaser dropped on the Omega site. It references #Speedmaster, but it can’t refer to the Moonwatch so soon after the refresh, can it?

IMHO Not a refresh. My Guess Is An Additional 321 (Upgraded Hair Spring) Moonwatch Version.

With two new variants of the 3861 being added last year for a total of 7 now (hesalite, sapphire, snoopy, sedna, canopus, moonshine, moonshine + green), I hope they dont want to add yet another moonwatch variant so soon.
Maybe an update to the ceramic speedmasters (dark side and grey side of the moon variants). Those are pretty old and also not METAS spec yet.

That would have little interest to the 321 market....buyers of these watches are not looking for, or interested in, a modernized version of the 321. Omega is not that crazy to goof up a halo movement that was re-introduced to the market after an absence of over 50 years.

I find it interesting that the Nasa Day of Remembrance is January 26th this year which also commemorates the tragedy of the Apollo 1 crew which occurred 55 years ago.

I agree the dark side is due for update and this is likely, and this was my predication in the other thread,
