any recommendations on custom genuine alligator straps targeted to females (smaller wrists - 105mm/60mm) that are less than $100? dark and light grey, deep green or deep purple colors would be nice.
saw some "alligator embossed" straps for $40 in the earlier pages (btw, went through all the pages) but didn't see anything that would fit my wrist and style. I got the attached strap from Florence two weeks ago for $75 (115mm/70mm) but it's slightly too big as I'm on the last hole.
really like Peter WatchAcc (Vietnam) gator straps but they're around $189-199.
thanks in advance!
This guy Nygen will build anything in almost any colour .
I am on my third strap.

I am pretty happy so far and considering they are one off's in unusual leathers reasonable value imo.
I have included a pic of my latest in dark blue lizard.
Best of luck.

Thanks Marco for your rec. I had seen his site and may consider it. Do you have pictures of the inside of the strap? Thanks.
The inside is the same, but I assume you could have a calf lining.
The attraction of Diddat straps is you design and they build, you are not constricted at all. Kepers , stitching, colours ect.
I have an light brown ostrich with curved lug ends on order, total cost $70 US, excellent value.
There is quite a long build and postage period, all up about 4/6 weeks but he does provide tracking.
Any good leather strap recommendations for military watches with fixed bars?

Has anyone tried this brand? Looks really nice and their smooth leather looks really supersoft..

yes. Atelier Romane products are on par if not better than the best out there, Hermes included.
I ended up ordering a custom strap from Steveostraps. There isn't many off the shelf straps with Chicago screws for the 17mm lug width of the Smiths W10
That's the thing about Steveo - there are a good few strap makers out there who can cut, sew, finish the straps to a high standard but he'll make anything you ask for. Even when he thinks you're nuts for asking.
I've had various canvas straps, copied faithfully from original WWII patterns; a green ostrich; red embossed; contrast stitching ... alsorts of weird and wonderful because that made a particular watch "pop" . He's even working on contrast silk linings (the same way you can choose your lining in a bespoke suit).
I'm a big fan of original steel bracelets on tool watches but straps are a relatively inexpensive way of having fun and changing the look of your wrist candy.
