Hermés is the best I have tried so far😀
My gf works at Apple and brought home a double tour Hermes Apple strap, just sold that silly thing on eBay for $300....I'm almost scared to ask what you paid for an Hermes that goes on a real watch....

Where were you able to source the Hermes strap?
Do they sell straps it self? Thanks!

It was on the watch when I bought it. But I would like one in taupe as well. Its by far the best strap I have ever had and also, this watch deserves it😀

I would like to share my postitive and negative experience with Hirsch Straps.

A few months i was wearing my 2254 Seamaster on a Hirsch Performance James strap (61,- EUR), i liked the appearance, but was kind of disappointed with the feel of the strap. Even after a while on the wrist, the rubber didnt want to adopt to the shape of my hand. So i would permanently have some tractor imprint on my skin. i dont know how many months more i would have to wear it, until i would get a good fit. but i was not happy with the overall feel.

So i got myself a leather strap Hirsch Mariner in black (48,- EUR), which is also Water Resistant to 100m (whatever this is supposed to mean). I must say, its on my wrist since 2 days but i already love it. It is very comfortable and soft, fits just perfekt, doesnt leave any marks on my wrist. i am not planning going swimming with it, but i hope it is sturdy enough to make me happy for a long time 😀

I often tend to find the straps from Hirsch a bit ”plastic” in the feeling and not very good value for the money

The problem ist that the straps often look and feel in person very different to what they look on pictures, so i prefer to actually touch one before i buy.

The only Watch Strap Manufacturer with large range of choise in our local stores is Hirsch. so at the moment i dont have a better idea how feel a strap before buying.

Until now i have bough quite a few leather straps from Hirsch (usually the simple Osiris series), i was pleased with the feel but those would not hold too long mostly due to getting wet accidentally or due to sweaty hands. So i was experimenting with rubber straps but just cannot get used to feeling of rubber on skin.

At the moment i am very happy with Hirsch Mariner, probably the best leather strap i have tried so far. And IMHO worth 48,- EUR. I am just wondering how it is going to keep up with the declared WR on the long run.

JP Menicucci aka JPM has some really good craftmanship and quality products😀
Jean Paul is the best. And a really nice and kind guy. He produces my straps and leather goods too.

Martu Straps is pretty nice, especially for the price, and she can customize the straps without additional charge. Regarding hardware, she does have a bunch of different buckles, you can email her and see if any of those fits your taste. Anyway, I just received 2 19/16mm straps I ordered from her, here are the photos.

As you can see, the edge finishing is certainly not top notch, not at JPM level for sure, but you are paying less. It is not a concern for me since I kinda appreciate that rustic and homemade look. The straps are really soft and comfortable straight out of packaging, conforms to wrist really well. Overall, comfortable, and I would say it makes a great everyday strap.

Saying Hermes does great strap is like saying Ferrari does good cars... I also find it slightly off-topic, this is not a "resource" really... this thread is more dedicated towards "hot tips". The fact that Hermes does some of the best leather goods in the world is not new news at all 😀

Has anyone tried this brand? Looks really nice and their smooth leather looks really supersoft..

yes. Atelier Romane products are on par if not better than the best out there, Hermes included.

Any good leather strap recommendations for military watches with fixed bars?
