Hello once again friends. I didn’t think I’d be doing another post like this for awhile but I just keep going on horological adventures. This one will be more pictures and less of me yapping. Sorry to those that are tired of me.

The Morven House Museum in Princeton, NJ has a clock exhibit set up. I had no idea about the history of clockmaking in the state. Or in any other state for that matter. It was fun to hear all the clocks ticking and randomly chiming during my visit. These things are huge! Figured I’d share the free version of the exhibit here for anyone who’s interested. I recommend reading the pictures with text descriptions. Click and open in a new tab to get full resolution for zooming and reading. I hope someone out there enjoys it.

Thanks OF for hosting! Somebody go subscribe so they can pay for serving all of these images. Cheers!

Cool! A museum like that would make a great place for an OF meetup, I think.

Never were truer words spoken. 😉

In all seriousness, places like this are amazing.

Agreed! Maybe time soon for another Mid-Atlantic OF member impromptu lunch.

Very nice. Interesting ad for the apprentice that ran away.

This exhibit will be there through early to mid next year IIRC. Would be a fun meet up. $10 to get in. Casual so we can talk and they allow photography. Free history tours on the hour. The whole first floor is a museum about the history of the house and its inhabitants. Clocks are upstairs.

Yes, the information about slavery and indentured servitude were a stark reminder of this countries history. Not just in the South.

Good thing I’m not here to pick up chicks. 😉 You know, I thought a long time ago that riding a badass motorcycle would attract females and make me look cool. I realized after a few months that absolutely nobody cares. Especially the ladies.
