Hi guys.
I need some of you expert opinion.
A trusted seller is offering me the watch in almost Nos state .
This particular watch ( rectangular shape , black dial , metal bracelet ) is quite rare and I am searching it from about 1 year.
The request is 1150/1200 It seems to me quite high even considering the perfect condition of the watch.
What do you think of it ? Pull the trigger or wait a better offer?

Thank you

Andrea

If I had been searching for a year for this exact reference the banknotes would leave my wallet at lightspeed. I have no idea what these go for but my only Zodiac had that effect on me -- and I'd only been looking for a few months. Still satisfied with the deal.

I’m all for paying a premium for condition and have paid 2x what I thought was rational for something I really wanted- but this seems 3-4x market rate for these- but it has been a while since I’ve looked at them.

That said, if this has been on your list and you will regret not buying it because you nickel and dimed, will you kick yourself later? Not knowing the prices these in recent days, if this watch is normally selling for say- $600 in excellent shape, and you would be willing for pay a 25% premium for condition, that puts is it around $800,
Then add another 10% for lust….we are still talking a large divide. Perhaps find any comps you can and come back with a reasonable offer accounting for the above.

I searched for the Astrographic SST pictured below for a long time. When I found one, I jumped on it. I say negotiate with the seller for the best price, and buy it.

I am the owner of the thread. I wrongly logged in with an account I made for mistake a while ago ( is there a way to cancel the account so I don't make the same mistake another time )
Anyway, I would like to thank you all for your suggestions. The seller is not in hurry, so I have time to think about it and see what I can find cheaper, In my mind, the price for such a watch is 600/700 euros in good ( not perfect condition) . I also plan to use the watch, so the NOS state isn't appealing me to much because after a while the watch will lose that.

@TexOmega do you mean that "10 73" is the date indicating when this watch was assembled? in this case could be a sign of destiny I was born a month later 8 November 1973 😀

Date of bracelet not watch but they were close in age, I would bet.
