Zenith El Primero - Advice, & Guidance Requested

Hello everyone

Radical departure for me from Heuer, Rolex, & Omega

Looking at a late 2000's Zenith El Primero - Would appreciate some thoughtful, generous, & experienced advice ?

This is unknown territory for me.....I simply do not know the Brand well enough, so I crave a little guidance from a kind Forum Member, who has the good sense, & clear judgement, to form a better assessment than me.

It is not my favourite time for Zenith... I would rather a rainbow from the endign 90's - early 2000's

From those in the catalogue 08-09, I would chose an El Primero complete calendar or a chronomaster open power reserve.
