New dial and hands are mounted know, before it was more like a frankenwatch. You can see it a few fotos earlier.

Got my De Luca back today from watchmaker. Zenith delivered NOS Tritium parts to get back the original state as 1 of 375:

Looks like gold hand but i guess the light is playing me 馃槈

Really great watches. I sold my DeLuca as I came to the conclusion that Zenith produced these as Rolex was having so much success with there Panda's and Zenith was supplying the movements. So Zenith figured if Rolex can sell so many with our movement why can't we, hence the DeLuca! Just an opinion

I hope you don't mindme saying that it is a pretty strange reason to sell a de Luca.
There is no doubt that the first iteration was a genuinely original design (compared to Rolex's chronographs at least), with the 0-60 bezel, dauphine hands, deep gloss black dial with silver print and so forth. Sure, the later versions can be seen as a little more Daytina-esque, but it is still a distinctly different chrono. And so much better value. SO much.

Beautiful model, recently came across a 02.1310.400 (below) that was recently sold. Are the latest ones sapphire crystal or do they have mineral glass?

I own one of these De Lucas (02.0310.400). The series that have a screw in crown, but no screw in pushers (like this one) have mineral crystals. Only the last series of De Lucas (02.2310.400), with screw in crowns and screw in pushers, have Sapphire Crystals. The Mark 1鈥檚 are the most sought after, but I absolutely love this watch and it gets its fair share of wrist time.

I took some hand measurements (without calipers), so the following may not be 100% accurate, but should be close. Thickness is about 19.6 mm. Lug to Lug (green measurement in your photo) is about 71mm. Band width (internal lug width) is 22mm. Hope that helps. I will post some photos tomorrow. Let me know if you want to see anything in particular.

Just recd the Mk 1 on left (small logo on caseback and unsigned crown). My 2-tone from 1990 has large logo and signed crown. Note dial similarities. Hands are same. Inserts are so different, crowns and pushers different. Bracelet for the Mk 1 just sent to Rolliworks for some work. Love these 馃榾

Hi Guys,
I have just ordered a mk1 white dial here in France.
As I ordered it from an individual I have asked a professional to authenticate it.
He told me everything is fine but noticed there is no unique serial number inside the case (just the reference of the model outside 01.0040.400)
As you have the same model, have you ever seen a unique serial number inside the watch ?
Thank you
