Hello,

Sorry but my bad english.

I am looking to buy this watch, I think the dial is original (relume) but I don't know if this dial is this case. I think that
There may be small variations depending on the years. I found the same minute counter on the internet, but nothing like this one.

Hi, sorry but this is not good. Dial was refinished.
You need to learn about vintage watches in general before you shop. Read the sticky thread “Learn how to fish”.
it takes weeks or months to buy a watch seriously, it took me more than a year to buy mine.
and you did well to post publicly before you buy, that’s the way to do it.
Create your own thread, do not hijack someone else’s.

Best of luck

Hi Charlitos! As said, this is a reprinted dial. My suggestion is not to buy this watch!

Hi,
The dial is refinished, so as well in my opinion this is a "no go".
The Excelsior Park case also seems to have been buffed/polished to the point where the bevels/facets have been damaged.
From the internet:

This is the same case on my Certina EP40. If you compare to the one you are looking at, you can still see something there, but mostly gone:

Does it not also depend on the asking price?

I have seen a lot of really bad refinishes, this one is imo quite good.

Cheers, Bernhard

Then you will probably have to spend more if is has to be the Jugoslavian air force variant....

yo prefiero original dial. Price is 2400€ Shipped.

Most people here would say you are right.
And 2400 euros is very excessive for a refinished dial in my opinion.

Very nice Longines 😉
And I also like the Angelus and the Berthoud.
Thank you for posting.👍
