Capped, as plated would cover all areas of the case as it's an immersive process. Gold capped/gold filled is a process where a thin layer of gold is heated and pressed to bond with the substrate metal, and is usually 1/20 by weight of the parts it's adhered to. It can cover the case fully too, but sometimes is only applied to the outer, visible surfaces.

It's got a nice curved style that hints of a constellation pie pan, and the two-tone and markers make it look even more so. Gorgeous watch.

What's the dial on the watch.? It's not piepan, right?
Not pie pan, no. Two-tone dial is flat and the applied indices are raised, I believe.

I stand corrected!

Actually it is difficult to see in pictures, and I am not some whiz with these old seamasters, it's just that I happened to have a few over the years and remember the dial shapes 😁
