Bought one. Swapped out my 1171 for the forstner and haven’t looked back. It is super comfy and gives the speedy a really great look.

Mine lives on an 18mm lugged chrono- took it off my speedy after 2 minutes- couldn’t do the lolipop look, but it looks great on this!

With certain watches, it’s slightly industrial look (including the straight ends) seems to me to ‘yin the yang’ ... just purchased one, threw it on my Tudor heritage chrono and it revived the watch for me:

I like way these bands give tool watches an all-business, clocking-in-at-the-Jet-Propulsion-Lab look. I still haven't gotten the hang of getting it onto my wrist on the first try, however.

Photo will come little later when I‘m reunited with my Speedmaster. I received my JBC bracelet in the mail yesterday. The quality and feel is great but I notice that the mechanism to resize the bracelet slips a little over time, so when I put the bracelet on reasonably tight after an hour it fits very loose. Does anybody else notice the same thing?

Have not experienced this. I would suggest that you contact Forstnerbands. I'm sure they will solve the issue as they have an excellent support service.

Okay, i will go do that. Thanks a lot! I thought everything would be alright because the mechanism feels very solid overall, but I‘ll write them a mail then.

Here‘s the beauty btw:

Mine would loosen a little over time, but I could tighten it again by pushing the pivot point back up my wrist.

I do not find mine getting “very lose” over the course of the day, and have been wearing for several days now. So if yours is getting “very lose” in the course of your first day of wearing, I’d wonder what is ‘off’ about your setup (either the product, or the setting)?

I’ve been wearing mine for a couple days and haven’t noticed this. Contact Forstner to get some help!

I can write up a full review later if people would be interested, but my quick thoughts are:

-Looks and feels great, high quality
-Easy to size once you figure it out
-A complete b**** to put on one handed. Maybe there is some trick to this bracelet but I haven’t figured it out. Releasing the clasp whilst pulling up is quite tricky and takes me a few times.

If you want to have a good quality, period correct bracelet, it’s a good choice. But I’m pretty frustrated with the lack of ease when putting the bracelet on. For myself, the jury is still out on whether it’ll become my daily driver, but damn, it does look good:

Thanks for posting this. I've been debating which band to get and these are always appealing. My buddy just bought a Breitling that came with mesh and it's very comfortable.

Despite that the speedy isn't a big watch, it looks so small on the speedy's case...

I believe I have seen that a horn end version is on its way.

That is imo a great news !

Was skeptical at first, but this actually looks better than the beads of rice bracelet, you had before. Kind of unorthodox to put a bracelet used by NASA astronauts on such a dressy piece but it works really well, cool idea!

Surprisingly ... that looks really good.
