Another classic from Spielberg and still one of the most memorable scenes in cinematic history. I saw it in the theater and remember being fascinated and terrified at the same time. After the movie ended, I went out into the lobby and paid to see it again. Amazing film.
I can’t believe this one came on page 2? Totally forgot to add to my all time favourites. A dreamy masterpiece!

Also in the comedy genre, I'd be remiss not to mention Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Undoubtedly a classic, even if some don't appreciate absurdist comedy.

Agreed. I love Holy Grail but I give the edge to Life of Brian. But the best MP sketch (imo) is this one:

2001 Space Odyssey and My Cousin Vinny for me 😀
As funny as Joe Pesci and Marisa Tomei were in My Cousin Vinny, it was Fred Gwynne as the judge who completely stole the show.

I'm a Kurosawa fan:
Seven Samurai (The Magnificent Seven is based on this movie)
Ikiru (Some may find it boring, but the message hit me in the feels)
Ran (Amazing set, vivid colors, and unreal battle choreography)
Yojimbo (The anti-hero samurai flick that kicked-off the genre)
Every single film he directed is amazing tbf.

Also, the animated series "Death Note" features a Speedmaster Professional with a modified caseback haha.

Agree, his expressions and dialog delivery are the off the charts. "Two Yutes"

My dad was a long time GM master mechanic, and I grew up in his shop. I was twelve when this movie came out and fell in love with Marisa Tomei. It was one of my dad's favorite films and is in my top ten.
