One I remember quite vividly is a Dr Who episode ( very first season and I was but 4 or 5 years old ) where the Doctor and his niece battle an invisible monster in a cave system.
Unfortunately this is one of the missing episodes so now as I age I am likely close to the last person alive to remember it.

But on a more modern note The Peripheral series I found very good, season 1 is completed just waiting on season 2 to come out.

If you like Dr Who ( or even if you don’t) there’s a superb drama that covers the inception of the series with David Bradley playing William Hartnell.
The first episode was aired in November 63 and was watched by practically no one as the assassination of Kennedy the previous day overshadowed everything.
An Adventure in Space and Time.
It really is top notch.

I go back and forth on which I think was better TNG and DS9, even thought they are hard to compare due to their inherent formats. I do wish that the DS9 finale was done better
Like most of William Gibson's stuff (he's a watch nerd) The Peripheral is a good novel.

Sounds like I need to read this. Neuromancer is definitely one of my top novels.

My personal nominee for the worst movie involving time travel: The Lake House, starring Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock. This movie had so many flashbacks, flash forwards, and flash sideways, that I felt like I had a severe case of jet lag when I left the theater. A mailbox is an instrument of time travel? Way to take an amazing concept and completely ruin it. 👎

I've never heard of that one but thanks for the warning.

I'm into lo-budget sci-fi and it has already been mentioned but Primer is great.
Everyone should watch it. It is only 77 min long and I watched it twice, back to back when I saw it the first time.
Another sort of off the wall one is Lunopolis

And not quite as low budget but Donnie Darko.

I remember the night I went to the move theater to see this it was -25F. It was a cold night and the car almost didn't start going home. But I made it and I really enjoyed the movie when I saw it then as a teenager, and every other time I have seen it since.

I love the super smart Beavis and Butthead. "Heh heh, droll very droll, heh heh. Quite jocular, heh heh."
