Here's my dad's Solar watch which he purchased at Eaton's in Montreal in the 1960's.
I recently serviced it myself (movement, new crystal & crown, removed a few scratches on the case, new strap). Frankly it looks really good. My dad passed away a decade ago so my sister received the refurbished watch; she was very happy. It's her first ever watch.

This was my father's IWC automatic. When he was stationed in Europe in the 50s, he became enamored of the IWC brand, but could not afford one. Somehow he was able to purchase this one in NYC in the 60s. It was literally his pride and joy. He called it his "Schaffhausen" and wore it 24/7 on this brick-link JB Champion.

Yes, it is redialed. Oh well.

When my father passed he left a few watches. This Seamaster on an aftermarket bracelet. I have the original but need a couple links I can’t seem to find.
