I got my Mark II racing for the same price!. I bought it in 1973 though.
Got mine from a fellow member...Extract says it is from Dec 1969. Perfect for my Speedmaster Decades Collection.
Your post was the first time I came across this reference. After two days gosh darn it if this watch has not jumped to the top of my list of ambitions.
This is another one where you will want to verify that the serial number matches the reference for the model - there are plenty of modified 35705000's out there with this dial and hand set installed. Not as many as the Mitsukoshi, but still enough that I would not pay sort of premium for one of these without checking first.
