I've heard it before, and it couldn't be more wrong. Though to a non-WIS all watches look the same, so we can't really expect them to distinguish differences across the Speedmaster line.

By the way, to form a perfect pyramid, you'll need one more on the on the bottom row, and three more to finish the top.

Just sayin'....

Any tips for explaining the pyramid to your significant other? It was easy for me to explain the difference between the straight lug and pro cases, but I may have a harder time when the next one comes in...

 

I've got a simple solution for your pyramid issue: Simply take one from the middle row, now 3 watches, take 1 from the top row, now 2 watches and add one of them to the top. Now you have a perfect pyramid. Then you can send me whatever one is left

 

I don't know how many of those I'd take to the beach..

I nearly fell off my chair when this photo rolled down the screen! Great collection. Where is the 176.0014 "TV"? Any chance you could assign the ref. numbers to each of these models if you can find the time - be really useful to put a face to a name.

 

I have a strict 7 Speedmasters limit policy! I'll put the 45th and 105.003 for sale at some point to get a TV and a 2998

And a limit on Seamasters too (I just got a Chronostop, not seen here)
