Yellow calendar disk in time?

    Hello! I have a question. Is it normal for my watch to have a yellow "date (calendar)" while the dial is white? Is it possible that he turned yellow because of the time? The watch is from 1986.[​IMG] [​IMG]

    I think you've nailed it. I'd guess that it's just patina as it has aged.

    I am no expert but It looks like the dial has been changed in the past. If the watch is from 1986 it should probably have the T SWISS MADE T dial.

    I saw it for sale and only with Swiss Made, it had to be with T? You mean the dial isn't original?

    From a quick google search all the 1986 datejust seem to have the T markings. I don’t know when Rolex stopped using tritium on their dials.

    That watch seems to have been extensively restored so a dial swap is not out of the question either.

    Sorry I can’t be of more help, I am just giving my 2 cents.
