Following @Lou P 's example, for the very first time I did today's battery change completely by myself. Paranoid as I am, I had to wait for various Amazon deliveries of gadgets such as a grounded anti-static mat and wrist loop, plastic tweezers, and the battery itself -- a Renata 386.
Please, please, nobody tell me that's the wrong battery 😵💫
