You’ve seen this one before, on a cheesy leather strap. I serviced it several weeks ago, and have spent the time since then, “tuning” it, to the point now it is an excellent performer. The movement is a 12-ligne, 17-jewel, manual wind, 2-register, Landeron 48 chronograph, in a gold filled “clamshell” case. Circa late 1960s. I have fitted a period correct gold filled expansion bracelet to it. I’ve had it about 10 years, but had done nothing with it until now.
I'm an IWC guy and this is the only member of my Dirty Dozen that I would not sell. Radium dial is hot on the Geiger. And one of my better hand relumes..and the only DD with a snap on case back. Case back fits so tight that you need a press to close it.
