Growing up watching the movie countless times and listening to my father talk with truckers on the CB radio (and even being handed the mic on occasion), this is probably the movie watch I was most excited to acquire relatively recently: 1972 Timex Viscount "Diver" aka the Smokey and the Bandit Watch.

Lovely watch - and, after looking at Timex Viscounts on eBay, I was within seconds of pushing the button on one myself - very tempting.

A gift for my dad on this holiday weekend. I’m not sure I can pull it off, but it will suit his larger than life personality just fine. Thanks watchbox & Tim for selling me on this one. I hope my dad likes it.

Spring has sprung and hopefully with the warmer weather I will get a chance to do some work on this.

It’s a shame they put a Miyota movement into such a beautiful watch. That said, it will never leave my collection. Happy Friday, yall! Cheers

Speaking of working on cars I had the body work done on my car went to pick it up tonight, the shop was closed I payed during the day. Of course the battery was dead as a door nail had to get transport to pick up my jumper unit but finally car going at least it gave me a chance for a lume shot. Good to have my regular car back after that girl with no insurance gave me a solid whack.
