Seamaster this morning and admiring this Roamer that turned up on my doorstep this morning.

A nice size at 53 mm across.

Complete with its history and what the proceeds of sale were funding.

One life out for another life in, all part of the circularity of life.

Do you know how old the Roamer is ghce? Do you have a movement photo?

It looks quite nice in your photos.

Last day for the Flightmaster.

Picking up Son of Flighty in a few hours from my watchmaker. (Flighty's the father, Genève's the mother.)

No I dot know its age and in fact its the first Roamer PW I have seen ( but then again I haven't been looking for them)

Will open it up a bit later and post some photos of the movement.

it looks fantastic in the flesh better than my photos and better than the sellers photos too, have not cleaned it up yet, its just a plated case with some wear showing thru the plating but just from normal usage no damage at all.

Just back from the watchmaker and running like a top, a 1958 Omega Seamaster. Thanks to @BenBagbag for selling me this fine piece from his collection.

I punked out was going to keep the two jobs going back to back until Friday but I hit a wall. I think I did 14 days straight. No mas. Preparing my watch for the AM and placing it in my @Duracuir1 fine leather goods watch holder. It wasn’t “stress” or illness it was just plain old tired. I don’t necessarily agree with the whole “work” thing anyway not sure who thought it up but I’d like to find them and smack them. I’m a man of leisure at heart. I should be payed to sit around and think while taking cloud pictures.

So we will double check the weather tomorrow but it looks like it’s my ultraman clockwork orange PS: @Duracuir1 fine leather goods it appears the button on my case is losing its luster I may need to take advantage of the lifetime guarantee and send it in for a complete service.

Yea Walrus, for recognizing a wall when you're about to crash into one!

Put down that accumulated stress and tiredness, rest and contemplate watches, the lost luster on that snap, and whether or not it requires a full Duraciur1 service or has valuable patina that would be a shame, nay a crime to remove at peril of ruining its collectibility.

@Duracuir1 has like six pages of fine print on his “lifetime guarantee” I’m sure he would find a way not to cover it anyway. Savvy business guy is he.
