That is really cool you have a great collection. The watch I still have not obtained is a moonphase of any sort. A speedmaster one would be ideal but that will take time. Like many many moons so I’ll probably grab a shallow end moonphase as the complication fascinates me. Do you keep it in a watch winder? I’m actually considering a quartz moonphase as setting it correctly seems like it could be quite a chore. Most of my watches stop as they wait their turn and my longest powereserve is 80hrs. I guess I could just sell all my watches and get a nice moonphase only wear that, problem solved.
Only back from the spa a couple of days, will be getting at least a few days on the wrist while I await incomings from the 40’s and 60’s respectively
Some stunning watches on display these past 24 hours - @Lou P that’s some bezel and the dial, wow!! A different vintage Omega today
I let mine wind down and actually kind of enjoy setting the moon phase and date. It's not that hard and part of the fun! Yes, I have to look up the current moon phase on Google and make sure I stay away from the keep out times when setting both. Note that many of these, including my 3576.50, are manuals, so the automatic winder can only be your fingers! Roamer Chrono-Diver today....that's CD for short, baby!
Took out my sooper dooper memorial watch from my safe which of course is full of rare valuable watches I just don’t want to show here out of modesty. i might have a kitten lined up unless the lady already gave it away and my car which was nailed by an uninsured driver finally has an estimate done so feeling like things are coming together. Also the 100 degrees Fahrenheit heat wave that has hit us the past two weeks broke today.
