Forgive the bracelet sans endlinks (I just got this and have not yet switched bands; crystal needs a buffing, too). 1971 Fortis Marinemaster 8001. For those who grew up in the 70s like me, does this not bring back memories of that style? While there were interesting styles back then, this design just works for me even today. And the V72 inside, 39mm case, and 200m water resistance are icing on the cake. I like this rare beast so much that I have two: this one to wear and a near-perfect one to keep.

Fresh back from my Watchmaker, polished lens new stem and new original crown.
On what looks to be a 1970's pig skin strap in excellent condition for its age but will need some leather softening to get back it's suppleness.
Haven't bothered to service will run it for a while before I make that decision as it was running so well with excellent daily variation.

Landeron strong. This is actually a fantastic little machine. The chrono functions very smoothly. If it were only a few mm larger.

1956 Seamaster 2761 with a honeycomb dial and a teju lizard strap for the office today. The vintage Seamasters are definitely my favorite Omegas.

I parted with a few dozen wwii watches yesterday. Mostly Hamiltons. Had to keep a few. This was naval aviator watch with the cal 2987, hacking. Excellent piece but still with the fragile balance staffs.
