Should've taken that left turn at Albuquerque and instead ended up in Athens, GA

When I bought my first car in 1960 (a 1949 Mercury), gas was 49 cents an Imperial gallon. I once drove a Rolls Royce Phantom IV that belonged to a friend, on an out of town car show. That was in 1962. The Rolls had a 60 gallon (Imperial) gas tank. I was stunned! It cost $28.00 to fill the tank! Right now, where I live, gas is $6.66 an Imperial gallon. And my province has about 1/4 of the proven petroleum reserves in the world.

A new arrival, but I haven’t seen many of these on OF.
