Chores over for the day and on with the Poljot to help remind me to make a call to a good friend around eight this evening.
This getting old certainly doesn't come easy 🙁

Yesterday was my last day at work. Was wearing my late run Foxtrot Oscar India Sierra as @Mad Dog would write. This morning my wife surprised me with this retirement watch. We love Detroit so it’s a wonderful memory for my first retirement breakfast. Oh and I have already called first dibs on Doug’s Rolex (next post).
Congratulations, no doubt we'll deserved👍👍

Amen brother. My refrain is, "Getting old isn't for the faint of heart."

Aquamatic 360EL (denotes bidirectional rotor) saved from a flea market junk box a few years back for beer money…very accurate after all these years…

A few members have reached out with love for this beaut the last few days (and desires to buy it!) reminded me it’s been a few days since it’s been on the ol’ wrist. Love her so!

Yes, I did sell it to big Col.

The bracelet is indeed very nice. It was always quite small so I had an extra link added during my ownership. Definitely a very special little watch. It came from HQ Milton originally.
Wow, I guess we’ve ‘connected the dots’ for it’s recent history!

I do love the fact that the last three owners have been ΩF members 😀

What really gets me is dearly beloved or family saying 'but I told you' when I could swear they didn't 😡

I'm giving my Seiko Adventure some love today. I find it at home on this inexpensive bund.
