·While home recuperating from surgery last October 22, I was (no surprise) fooling around with watches, bracelets, and straps. After hundreds of dollars spent on US bracelets and various other straps, I finally got around to properly refitting the stock bracelet on my 2019 Speedmaster 1861.
I clamped it on my wrist and have now worn it every single day, 24/7 (minus a five minute shower), since around November 1. No mid-day switcheroos and no strap changes. It feels perfect. I now know how it feels to be a “one watch” guy.
It’s kinda liberating…
