Merry Christmas…it was double-dog Speedmasters for usher duty at church tonight…a 2014 1861 and a 1964 321 respectively…

With his Bracelets of Submission, Mad Dog fights the evil powers of Big Quartz.

I do not have an ugly Christmas sweater so I am wearing an UGly watch! Matches the old clock a bit.

My traditional Christmas Accutron battery died on Christmas Eve, so time for a change. My 1950s Gruen automatic in a gold shell case, will be pressed into service. A bit of a curiosity, this one. An American company, usually using Swiss movements, fitted a German made Durowe movement to this one. Durowe (Laco) was fairly early in battery powered watches. The company was acquired by Timex in the early 1960s, as Timex wanted battery powered watches. The early ones were by Durowe.
